1. 1. Walk me through a portfolio project where the problem shifted mid-flight. How did you respond?

   Answer guide: Tell the original problem, the user or business signal that made you re-frame and how you defended the pivot without slipping the deadline.

2. 2. When you get conflicting feedback across stakeholders, how do you decide?

   Answer guide: Return to the user goal and product metric. Show how you prioritized, what you documented and how you closed the conversation with everyone aligned.

3. 3. Describe a component or pattern in your design system that you redesigned. What problem did it solve?

   Answer guide: Speak to the trade-off between flexibility and consistency. Anchor it on the real case that triggered the change and the rollout that did not break existing consumers.

4. 4. Tell me about the last time you argued for less UI, not more, and how you justified it.

   Answer guide: Show judgment. Cite the metric or research that supported the call and acknowledge exactly what you removed without breaking visual hierarchy.
